My Students

I am a passionate second-year teacher committed to fostering an educational environment that activates a diversity of learning abilities and preferences.

Ultimately, I strive to provide students with a safe space where everyone is seen, heard, and acknowledged.

The students in my fifth-grade ICT class are diverse, multi-lingual, and passionate. In our inclusive classroom, all students are viewed as assets who add to our daily learning experiences.

My Project

The materials I am requesting for my fifth-graders will help them actively engage with the lessons and units of study.

I wish to provide my students with different forms of engagement by incorporating whiteboards and clipboards.

Students can use the whiteboards for brainstorming in groups, practicing math fluency, teaching fellow classmates, etc... Whiteboards during whole group lessons can also allow me to quickly and effectively see who may be possibly struggling with a concept.

The clipboards will allow students to navigate the classroom freely during independent work or group discussions.
