My Students

My classes need your help and they deserve every ounce of help and love!

They have many different abilities and different disabilities and learning during this hard time is tough, but they’re motivated to learn and do their best!

I am a special education teacher in the Queens area. My students, like many others, are trying to navigate through learning to the best of their ability during the pandemic. Let's continue to make learning fun and allow for every scholar to have a laptop within my classroom to involve technology with their in-person learning.

My Project

Classrooms are blank, empty, rooms that look so uninviting when you don't have the proper materials to fill the room with. When teachers walk into them it is vital to make that room a home for ALL learners. But where do all of the materials come from? TEACHERS! We need your help to make our classrooms a great learning environment for our students of all abilities and disabilities. My students will benefit from having these materials by being able to follow visual cues from the white boards. They will also have anchor charts that will remind them of the lesson being taught and any strategies that are taught in the classroom. Lastly, having colored paper will help color code different items for students who have disabilities.

Please help make our learning space beneficial for our students, especially during this Pandemic that feels that it is everlasting.
