My Project

I love how empathetic my students are and how they are constantly looking out for their classmates and others. They are so welcoming of everyone regardless of any differences they may have. I have students that communicate differently and my students don't even bat an eye. They figure out how to connect with others in different ways so no one feels excluded.

These books will make a difference in the lives of my students because it will allow them to see themselves in different stories and learn how to connect more with others.

These books will support their social emotional learning by helping them learn strategies when they are feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or sad. It also will allow them to learn about how to support others in different ways.
