At the end of August, I will be greeted by a classroom full of hard-working 1st grade students, eager and willing to learn. My hope is to teach them that they can do hard things. If they have the courage to dive in with a willingness to do their best, regardless of the mistakes that will be made along the way, I believe they can accomplish anything they set their mind too. I am excited to share my love of learning with my new class family.
My Project
As students enter my classroom, they will begin a reading journey that will last a lifetime. The money received from this project will be used to build my classroom library with a variety of engaging books that will help students gain important reading skills and build a strong love for reading. Students will be able to read these books in the classroom and at home with their families. My hope is to build a collection of books that spark interest and keep students engaged and excited to read. This classroom library will take my students on a variety of learning adventures.
