My Students

I am a fifth-year teacher working with about seventy-five eighth graders. We are from a rural area and as with most teachers, I struggle to fill my classroom each year with the many things that students need to be successful.

Because this school year is back in person, I am in need of quite a lot of supplies to help make this transition easier.

I need to have my classroom library stocked with supplies so that my students will be able to participate in class, and so that I don't break my budget trying to help them.

My Project

With having a classroom library, it is almost guaranteed that books will go missing. Truthfully, if a student forgets to return a book, I am just pleased that they will have one to add to their collection at home. Sometimes they need those books more than I do. Nonetheless, to make way for this new school year, I would like to restock a few of the books that have gone to new homes, and update my collection with some cool new titles that will intrigue my 8th graders. Any contribution to my project is greatly appreciated! Thank you for helping my students explore!
