I teach scholars with a wide range of learning disabilities. Our learning may be unique but we are capable of amazing things. We are trying to create a distraction-free reading space to keep books organized and easily accessible. We are greatly appreciative of all your support!
My Project
The bookshelves will give my students the ability to find books at their reading level and sit in a distraction-free area to read and grow their minds. My students love to read but the books they find in the Intermediate school library are too difficult for them. Having books organized and available at all ability levels helps encourage our students and build confidence in reading.
The area rug and ottomans offer flexible seating that will help students sit down with good-fit books to read and enjoy.
My students benefit from a distraction-free environment where they can focus.
