Classroom Inclusion with Wobble Stools

Help me give my students wobble chairs. These chairs provide flexible seating arrangments, movement to mitigate ADHD, role differentiation by color, ergonomic support, and the ability for teachers to sit right next to student desks.

My Project

Wobble stools add novelty, fun, and flexibility to the classroom. Students sit in uncomfortable desks all day long. Wobble stools are different. They allow movement for students with ADHD. They allow for small-group instruction, with roles delineated by color. Peers -- or the teacher -- can pull up a wobble stool next to a traditional desk and be at eye level with a student.

My goal is to use wobble stools 80% of the time for groupwork or one-on-one help.

My students include those with Individualized Educational Plans. In the general education classroom, students with IEPs often need movement and change to stay engaged. Wobble stools are the answer!
