This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me motivate my students to reach their goals. In class, I like to challenge students to set and reach goals that will help them succeed academically or with behavior. Students are encouraged to break their goals into small chunks and to set a time frame.

As students reach their goals, they get excited when they can earn a prize for all their hard work.

Earning prizes makes learning fun and students feel like they are working towards something fun. Students seem more engaged because they are receiving something tangible.
