Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
All of the items will be used to make classroom group centers for the new school year. I plan to make rotations to apply practice areas for small groups to apply what they have learned during the lesson. My students love to do work in small groups with their friends. I often think that peers can assist in the explanation of the material in simpler language to increase understanding. My centers will need erasable surfaces, erasable markers/chalk, pencils/erasers, and worksheets for students to work as a team to complete the assignments. These items will enable me to change assignments easily for each unit of learning in order to assess understanding, application, and teamwork.
