My Project

Encouragement goes a long way in the classroom. Students need motivation, excitement and the feeling that their teacher cares, in order to reciprocate their maximum attention and energy.

With these tools, the classroom will feel like their own.

They will be motivated and excited to earn rewards and prizes, as well as time to spend on free time activities.

The games, Magnatiles and dolls will be used for Fun Friday. Students will accumulate minutes all week long in order to dedicate toward using their items on Fridays. The rest will be used in the classroom commerce system. Students will receive numeric points as encouragement, that they can then cash-in for various prizes that will have values affixed to them. Everything in this project will either be put toward Fun Friday activities or as prizes, but all are commerce based and encourage students to understand the mathematics behind using their minutes and reward points in order to cash-in for various different things.
