This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Throughout the school year, there are certain supplies and materials that are essential in the classroom. These supplies tend to run out as the year progresses. Student writing material and storage are one of the first things to run out. Since my student write every day, their journal fill up quickly. They also use their pencil boxes every day. That also needs replacement frequently.

Another important aspect of teaching is keeping the classroom clean, organized, and hygienic.

Our custodians do basic cleaning throughout the year, so it is important that we teachers maintain it in between. Having a clean and organized classroom reduces distractions and helps students feel calm and at ease.
