This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The items I’ve requested in this project are for a plethora of reasons

1.

I have requested snacks because there is a snack time between breakfast and lunch because students complained in the first week of “dying of hunger” before lunch. Despite several requests made to parents to provide snacks for students or to donate for the class, I have at least 15 students who are without snacks everyday and also at dismissal and it’s becoming extremely expensive for me to provide snacks everyday

2. Science supplies- I believe in learning science through project based learning and though they may not be using chemicals that require gloves and glasses, I think it’ll build the morale of the students being suited to like scientists and I am hoping that resonates with some students re career paths
