My students range from 11-14 years old.

They are curious, bold, eager, loving, and resilient.

Privileged to work with students of this age level, I look forward to each day of work! My students have their own stories and experiences to share, they are just so inspiring!

At this exciting and impressionable age in their lives, they thrive and succeed- supporting each other the whole way, yet expressing themselves and communicating in the most They make me proud to be a teacher.

My Project

Aloha! The materials we need will help us to accomplish our day to day tasks. For example, having a functioning pencil sharpener will allow us to take a myriad of notes and communicate our learning. In addition, coloring tools, scissors, and glue sticks are an essential luxury. Currently, we need them so that we can complete our study of the moon phases. We are learning about the moon through a Hawaiian cultural lens, which will support and affect the work we do in our school's garden. Expressing our learning using through posters and diagrams will allow us to show-off the interesting topics we study.
