it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach 2nd grade bilingual at my neighborhood Dallas ISD Title I school.
The kids at this school have given their all through the adversity of the pandemic and I want to make sure they have what they need to be successful.
My Project
I want all of my students to have access to classroom supplies. Every year I have a few students who don't have the financial means to buy all of the classroom supplies needed for the school year. I want to be able to give everyone what they need to succeed.
No child should be made to feel bad because they don't have a pencil, crayons, etc.
Also, we have second grade units on measurement and magnetism and have not had class sets of rulers or magnets to use. I end up having to beg and borrow from other teachers to teach these units.
Finally, we have an outdoor garden where we explore and learn. I want to have clipboards for my students to take down their observational notes.
