Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Donations to my project will allow students to get 1:1 feedback and support using our online intervention platform of iReady that includes videos as well as our online curriculum resource of Mathia. Students are also assigned EdPuzzles to help supplement the classroom teaching. Students currently have to read the subtitles on the videos to not disturb the class or watch the video at a very low volume.

I currently only have 2 headphones in my classroom but I have up to 5 students who receive text-to-speech accommodations during each class.

To provide equity so that all students can access learning at the level of support they need, the headphones would benefit all students but especially those who have documented accommodations. The copy paper will be used for student worksheets so they can follow along with note taking and working out problems during the direct instruction and independent practice portion of class.
