My Project

We are requesting items to bulk up our classroom economy! The specific items I am requesting will significantly impact my students' learning by providing them with tools to develop essential financial skills through a classroom economy system. These resources will transform abstract financial concepts into tangible, relatable lessons, making it easier for my students to grasp the fundamentals of budgeting and saving their classroom dollars. My goals for this project are twofold: first, to empower my students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed financial decisions that will serve them throughout their lives, and second, to instill a sense of financial responsibility and independence in them. What makes my students special is their remarkable enthusiasm for learning and their diverse backgrounds. They come from various socioeconomic backgrounds, and this project will help level the playing field by providing all of them with equal access to our classroom economy store.
