Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These items will help me make a classroom that is comfortable and calming for my students. In my 6 years experience as a teacher, I have realized that kids are more productive and more apt to learning when they have a classroom that brings them a sense of peace. Kids thrive in environments where they feel welcomed and included. These items will help build a place for my students where they can come in and have calming lighting, fun bulletin boards that get them excited for the lessons, and calming colors on the floor and walls.

Kids learn better in organized, safe, and comfortable environments and that is what I hope this Donor's Choose will help me accomplish.
