Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kids come from mostly poor households; however, they deserve to come into a classroom that is lively and refreshing. These 2nd graders notice every little thing and sure keep me on my toes, especially if I've "forgotten" something. Their abilities range across the board, but they all love to come to school, and I love being their teacher.

Most kids walk in every day, start their routine and are ready to learn.

Kids in my class have low absenteeism and make it to school despite the many hardships they face on a daily basis.

My Project

My school has been closed and we are relocating to another building in the district. We have have not been given any money at all to purchase classroom supplies. I am starting several projects to get a classroom running efficiently for the start of the year.

I need incentive charts, dry erase markers each student to use with the new math curriculum, chart paper to use to make anchor charts, sentence strips to post targets/objectives, markers, and stock paper for projects.

You can help the children begin the year strong by supporting my classroom. No materials have been ordered for the relocated classroom.
