My Project

Kindergarteners need structure not only in the classroom but also on the carpet. While practicing safe space, this carpet helps students sit and learn while staying in their own space. We sit on the carpet several times a day and this carpet gives each child an assigned place to sit for morning meeting, calendar and whole group lessons. The carpet is ideal because it allows the students to sit closer to the whiteboard for the activities we are doing as well as allows a sense of community when we come together for our morning meeting and then again at the end of the day.
