My Project

A classroom carpet is a place where we can come together as a community to build a trusting environment and bond. Classroom carpets are used to gather together for a morning meeting, a mini lesson, and a space to build relationships; which is needed this school year more than anything.

A classroom carpet is the safe space in the classroom.

It is where we can discuss our feelings, thinking, and ideas in a safe circle.

Kindergarten is a time of building independence and identity, children need to feel safe more than ever! A classroom carpet is a small start towards creating a safe environment where children can begin to learn and share in a space where they feel supported.
