My Project

Our second-grade classroom is in need of a comfortable, inviting space for students to gather, collaborate, and engage in hands-on learning activities. A classroom carpet will create a designated area for group work, reading sessions, and other interactive lessons. This carpet will provide a soft, organized space for students to sit and focus, helping them feel more comfortable and motivated to participate in discussions, work with peers, and enjoy learning.

How It Will Make a Difference: The addition of a classroom carpet will make a significant impact on student engagement and collaboration.

It will give my students a cozy area to sit together, making them feel more relaxed and ready to learn. This space will also improve classroom management by creating a specific area for group activities, discussions, and lessons that require interaction. By having a designated carpet space, students will develop better social skills, work on projects in small groups, and actively participate in lessons.

Goals:

Provide a comfortable, designated space for group work and interactive learning.

Foster collaboration among students through group activities and discussions.

Create a more organized and engaging classroom environment that encourages focus and participation.

Why My Students Are Special: My students are a diverse group of eager learners, including bilingual English language learners (ELLs) and students with varying academic needs. They thrive in a supportive and engaging environment, and a classroom carpet will provide the space they need to interact, learn together, and build positive relationships. This project will help enhance their learning experiences, making lessons more dynamic and collaborative.
