Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting a calming corner for the classroom. I would like to provide my students with a safe place where they can take a break if they are feeling upset, nervous, anxious, or angry. I would like to provide them with techniques and visuals of what they can do if they are feeling overwhelmed.

A calming corner will help students relax and guide them into a different mindset.

I am requesting an affirmation mirror, defuser, oils, twinkle lights, and posters with skills and strategies to help them refocus their mindset. This classroom calming corner will be a nice and relaxing place for everyone to use and gather themselves. Thank you so much for all your time, support, and donations to our classroom project.
