This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager to try new things in the classroom. I'm asking for help to purchase a few classroom basics such as pencils, dry erase markers, name plates, a medium sized washable rug for the front of the room, and 4 floor cushions.

Having these essentials for the first week of school will give a a really good start!

Last year, I used every single pencil and now don't have enough to start off the year. I ended up having to purchase dry erase markers for math boards so that they could continue to demonstrate their thinking of their individual white boards and no longer have enough. I am trying hard to redecorate my room and make it comfortable for my kids. That's where I need the washable rug and 4 floor cushions. It would be awesome to have these few basics ready for our first day.
