My Students

Hello! We are in full swing of our first-grade year and I'm still working to make sure my classroom is always prepared for my new group of little learners! They are just so excited to come to school each day and learn and have the opportunity to do so at the best school in town!

The majority of the students in our school come from low-income households and do not get many of the experiences many others are afforded.

Each and every year, I try to find ways to make learning engaging and fun so that they can have the best possible school year. My students have always been so eager about their learning and seem to have genuine excitement about being at school each day. I am always looking for new ways to help this continue so their love of learning will continue to grow!

My Project

Our classroom is in need of some basic items that will help continue our daily work to run smoothly.

We use dry-erase markers in all of our daily activities and our supply is very low!

Our classroom fridge is also going out. I always keep snacks and drinks on hand for the students to cover any time that we have special treats and a student is without or to supply late students with breakfast as many come in without having anything to eat. I know that a student's basic needs must be met in order for them to give their best daily so having a new fridge will allow me to help them keep going with cold milk, juice, fruit, or yogurt.
