Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All elementary classrooms need classroom basics like pencils, paper, crayons, and books! I am really excited to add to the collection of books that we have in our current library! I want to give my students the newest books in the current series they are reading at home. My students love to read about fantasy characters and Dragon Girls and Dragon Masters are two of their favorite book series.

Our students have been gravitating towards stories about dragons for years and I want to encourage their love of reading!

I don't want my students to miss out on these amazing adventures! Reading is one of my favorite ways to relax and I know that it is so important to my students' mental health to be able to imagine and travel to far-off lands. Classroom basics aren't just the materials that you need to complete lessons, they also include books that students use to learn and improve their reading skills. It would mean the world to my students to have your support.
