This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The primary goal of this project is to empower economically disadvantaged health science students by providing them with the necessary tools to actively participate in their education. We aim to break down the financial barriers that hinder their engagement and understanding, thereby increasing their chances of academic success. By ensuring that every student has access to these basic classroom supplies (dry erase paddles, pens, white board erasers) we hope to foster an inclusive and equitable learning environment.

Our health science students, particularly those who are economically disadvantaged, possess unique qualities that make them special.

They are often resilient, motivated, and driven to overcome the challenges they face. By supporting them with essential classroom supplies, we acknowledge their potential and provide them with a fair chance to excel in their studies. Our students' diverse backgrounds and experiences also enrich the classroom, contributing to a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.

In conclusion, providing basic classroom supplies to economically disadvantaged health science students is not just a matter of convenience; it's a matter of equity. These supplies are instrumental in increasing engagement and understanding, essential for success in health science education. By helping these special students access the tools they need, we not only level the playing field but also empower them to achieve their full potential and make meaningful contributions to the field of healthcare.
