My Project

My students are often readers for whom reading is a constant challenge. They are likely to become frustrated and abandon the task when the books they might need to read in their class, are above their reading level. Often, easier reads lack the sophistication and excitement that grade level stories might have.

While reading Great Expectations, (a Stepping Stone Classic), my group of 4th grade boys were fired up and eager to read and to have a daily debate about their thoughts on Miss Havisham, the convict and Pip.

Give me more of the classics for my awesome students!
