Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a new music teacher, I believe children should be exposed to classical music.

It has been scientifically proven that listening to classical music has a significant impact on the brain.

While playing it is easy with a computer and a SmartBoard, books teaching classical history are harder to come by.

These books are interactive and allow the children a tactile experience while learning. Some are geared more for the upper grades of 2nd through 5th, while others are appropriate for Pre-K through 1st grade.

I believe these books would go a long way in teaching children classical music.
