Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I want my student to love their experience with guitar class. Guitar can open them up to a whole new word of music and enrich their lives.
They are students that for the most part have never had music education before.
They are nice kids that deserve to have a strong music education. We are a small start up performing arts high school serving underprivileged working class students from the area.
My Project
Guitar cases will give the students more pride in their learning as the poor guitars don't have any cases or stands. It will help protect the guitars from damage, and allow the students to take the instruments home to practice. Without the ability to practice at home the students will not be able to learn the guitar well.
Music can make a huge difference in the lives of our students here at school.
