Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from a low-income area that has a great community with lots of support. They work hard for themselves and for their families. Many live in situations where they are in one home with over four families living together, yet they come to school every day ready to learn and grow.

Our school does as much as it can to help and assist the families of our students and we strive to make a better future for them to live in.

My Project

My students have seen the Classcraft introductory video and were very excited about it! However, we are not able to use all the features that excited them with our free account. This deeply disappointed them, and I want to be able to use a tool that they both want to use and that would also benefit their education.

This tool allows for behavior goals, math development, team building, and parent communication.

The cotton balls are to fill up a poor bean bag chair that has been squashed flat. The students enjoy our reading nook, but lately they have been sitting on the floor over the bean bag chair.
