My Project

These items will make a difference in helping my students be prepared for class. When students are prepared, they are more engaged, and when they are more engaged, they learn more. When they learn more, long-term possibilities are created. Providing them with supplies and books increases preparation and engagement, so this project is creating long-term possibilities for their futures.

Many of my students struggle with readiness, and they worry about it, which is an impediment to authentic engagement.

Helping my students to surmount this readiness hurdle goes further than many other efforts.
