My Project

A class set of The Wild Robot (approximately 30 copies) would allow every student to have their own copy of the book, enabling them to read along during lessons, mark passages, and take ownership of their learning. Unfortunately, we don’t have the budget to purchase a set of books for the entire class. That’s where your support comes in! In The Wild Robot, readers follow Roz, a robot stranded on a remote island, who learns to survive and adapt to her new environment. As Roz discovers what it means to be human, the novel explores themes of compassion, community, technology, and the power of nature. This book will not only captivate my students but also serve as a springboard for rich classroom discussions on empathy, ethics, and the relationship between humanity and technology.

Your donation will directly impact my students' reading experience, helping them engage with a modern, exciting piece of literature.

With your help, my students will not only improve their reading skills but also develop a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

How This Book Will Benefit My Students:

Engagement: The Wild Robot is a fast-paced, relatable story that will hook my students, inspiring them to read and engage more deeply with literature.

Critical Thinking: The story raises important questions about what it means to be alive, how we relate to others, and how we interact with the environment. These conversations will help develop their analytical and reflective skills.

Classroom Connections: The themes of nature, survival, and artificial intelligence align with what we're exploring in science and social studies. It provides a perfect opportunity for cross-curricular learning.

Inclusivity: This book is accessible to students of various reading levels, so every student will be able to enjoy it and contribute meaningfully to class discussions.
