My Students

Our class has 1 set of class books. The students read the novel and are looking forwards to reading another class book. They are eagerly awaiting another novel to entertain them!

My third grade students come from a variety of backgrounds and socioeconomic status.

They are an enthusiastic bunch who are ready to be sucked into a good book. We just need the books! Previously, through generous donations, we received our fist set of class books. They quickly read through Freckle Juice and are now ready for a second novel. Please help me inspire these 8 year olds to be life long readers!

My Project

Stuart Little is a classic novel that every kids should have the privilege to read. It is my hope to inspire the students to love reading through this classic animal tale. After reading the book, we will be comparing and contrasting the novel to the movie. The entire experience will help me create students who love to read.

With your generous donations, my students will experience an adventurous tale of a little mouse and his will to survive.

They will be able to discuss literary elements in the book and then compare it to the movie. Through lively classroom discussions, the students will have an enlightening experience reading this novel.
