My Project

My students are hardworking high school students. Many of them also take college classes. They are working their way towards an associates degree at the same time they move toward earning a high school diploma. They are now taking Participation in Government with me, which involves project-based learning. These projects will have of a lot reading and research. I have already used a project here to gain a couple of laptops for my students to help them work in class. I would like to gain one more to give more students access to the internet in class, allowing more of them to have the opportunity to conduct research for projects.

My students having access to laptops not only helps them in my class, but in other classes.

During free periods, they are able to use laptops in my room to work on college courses as well as projects or papers for other classes. Having technology in the classroom isn't just about one specific project, but something that helps my students throughout the school year. And not only helps them with my class, but other classes, and not just high school, but with college. A little tech goes a long way.
