Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a variety of different backgrounds. They are each unique and special individuals I am lucky to be teaching this year. They all come to my class with many different skill sets, and strive everyday to be the best they can be! They work hard and find success in many different ways. Differentiation and small group work is a must! They are amazing kids who, with their wide range of abilities and interests, challenge me to be a better teacher every day.

My Project

Differentiation is a must in teaching. I have the bold goal of meeting with students to work together and help them thrive in their learning. Right now I have two student desks taped together to make a small group work space. Needless to say, it doesn’t work very well. I need a space where I can work well with my small groups of students and have the space to use different resources and tools helpful in our learning. It would be nice to have a clear, dedicated place where we can work without interrupting the other learning going on in the classroom.
