Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students from my school live in one of the poorest districts in the country, the Bronx, NY. Many of our students view coming to this public school as a way to escape their day-to-day struggles. We try our best to provide students with access to diverse, fun learning programs, but with major budget cuts, we can not afford certain supplies to keep us going. It has become increasingly difficult to offer character-building education services to our large population of students. The guidance team is working on our college and career planning atmosphere for the students. We want to inspire them to start planning for their future.

My Project

Class of 2021 seniors are approaching the finish line. Graduation is around the corner and we want to send them gifts of encouragement to their doorsteps. We are looking to provide them with support and hope. We are looking to show them how proud we are of all the hard work they do day after day.

Ten weeks until graduation means 10 weeks until they reach their biggest accomplishments.

Social-emotional support is more important now than ever before. Help us give them something special to honor their 2021 diploma goals and ways to journal their next chapter into adulthood.
