My Project

Covid has impacted the social and emotional development of our students. They are becoming more self reliant at a later age, and need comfort items to help support their emotional and intellectual growth. By funding this project, students will be given the opportunity to explore new social group settings which will allow them to develop these skills. Such resources include flexible seating. This allows students options that are welcoming and motivate them to continue to work hard while enjoying their space. As a teacher that is new to this room and space, the other items on my list, specifically the bulletin board trim, create a welcoming environment that make students want to learn. Help me make my classroom a home away from home that students look forward to coming to everyday.
