My Students

My students are an amazing group of academic learners. For many of them, my class will be the first time they will learn about the beauty and struggles of Latino Americanos. My students come from many different social backgrounds. All of them have a hunger to keep learning.

Our school is in its fifth year; therefore, we need your help to succeed.

We are determined to become one of the best schools in our area. We want to prepare our students to be ready to go and be successful at a university.

My Project

We will do a project based on our identity. Students will create their own Loteria card. They will chose a positive role model and dedicate a Loteria card to him or her. Students will also write a short thank you letter to that person. I hope to have all the Loteria cards on display by the back to school night.

Students will also have the opportunity to create their own card based on who they are or who they want to become.

The supplies will help students do their art component of the project at home.
