My Project

My goal with these materials is to offer my 350 STEM students an inviting and cozy spot to have discussions, listen to stories, and feel welcomed to class each week.

Each STEM class starts on the floor in a welcoming group to talk about expectations, go over directions, and share thoughts on what we may be building, creating, tinkering with or exploring for that day!

Right now, students are sitting on our science room tile floor. I would love to offer them a cozier and more inviting space to be welcomed into STEM. As a specialist teacher I see every student in grades K-3 so these materials would be used and appreciated each and every day.
