My Students

Fairy tales allow children to experience a magical side to stories. The fairy tale Cinderella is one that has engaged children from around the world! I hope to inspire my school with bringing this tale to life on stage!

My students are hardworking and talented.

They love to dance and perform for an audience. They have a creative side, and they love sharing their work with the world. My students are diverse learners, and come from many different cultural backgrounds. We are a Title I school which means all of our student qualify for free breakfast and lunch due to low economic income.

My Project

I am requesting materials to share with the dance teacher in order to transform our students into the world of Cinderella. We need supplies for our performance, including, paper fans and masks to be used during dance numbers in the play. We also need highlighters and books on Cinderella from around the world to study the fairy tale. The drop clothes will be used to make banners for the play being held in the auditorium. In addition, props for the play will be used by all the students!

This project will allow students in our school to be apart of a wonderful performing arts production.

The story of Cinderella has always been meaningful to me, and will help our children to grow an imaginative and magical side. I know their artwork for the banners will be beautiful, and they will love reading all the literature!
