Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I’m currently teaching 4th grade again. My students live in an underprivileged neighborhood where they face difficult challenges on a daily basis.

Their parents lack the funds to purchase items to support their educational needs.

They have the capability to learn; however, they are unable to accomplish their goals to their fullest potential by not having the materials needed to complete the task. Any help would be appreciated by my students as well as myself. We thank you in advance for your support!

My Project

My students will be able to follow up and review skills they have learned in class. They will use iReady reading lessons online to help them improve their reading skills. iReady provides them with extra practice in reading skill, strategies and fluency. It also helps them improve their mathematics skills by providing them with extra practice and builds their fluency. Using the Chromebook will motivate them to continue to advance their reading and math skills on a daily basis. This will boost their confidence and continue to create a love for learning. My students and I would be so grateful
