Most of my classes consist of 30 or 31 amazing students. Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths. The students in my class are scholars who strive for excellence and are extremely motivated. They all inherently care about one another, continually make an effort to improve, and work together to find solutions and help raise each other in class.
My Project
To be college-ready means to be able to effectively use technology in class. In my high school English III class, students come ready to class to participate and engage with the text and the lessons that I have prepared for them. However, with the lack of technology, students struggle to participate with online activities and complete assignments on time.
Additionally, many of the students use their cell phones to write their essays and take tests which hinders their ability to grow as academic individuals.
Often times students struggle to keep up with technology used in class because of a lack of cell phone service.
I would like to prepare my students to only succeed in high school, but as they move onto their college career. The work starts in my class.
Please support my class with Chromebooks and a Chromebook cart!
