My Students

My 32 fourth grades students come to school each day ready to learn and share what they've learned.

My students attend a magnet school which means they come from all over the city of Chicago.

Each day they take a world language class in either Chinese, Italian, French, or Spanish. Students take the same world language from Kindergarten through eighth grade.

My Project

When my students ask a question or are interested in learning something new, I love to say, "Let's look it up!" A recent project my students completed was researching an animal, creating a digital presentation with their research, and then sharing the project on their blog. My classroom is 2 machines short of being a 1:1 environment. These two additional Chromebooks will allow more students to use technology at once. This generation of students need to know how to research and effectively use technology. These Chromebooks will help them be ready to do that.

Please help move my classroom further into the 21st Century and support my students' learning.
