Chromebooks for the 21st Century Classroom!

My students need access to Chromebooks on a daily basis to help integrate technology into all subject areas including the arts, and help prepare them for the tech world that they are growing up in.

My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. They are a joy to teach and will keep you on your toes with what they will say and do. I try every day to shine a light on the little thing that they do that make them unique and individual. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.

I teach at a Title I school in rural Alabama.

Many of my students receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.

My Project

Chromebooks will enhance my students' learning. My students need the availability of technology to become successful in the classroom and in the world they are growing up in. I am slowly working on having a 1 to 1 classroom. With the addition of these Chromebooks my classroom will be one step closer to being 1 to 1.

My students love doing STEM activities but right now we are limited to what we can do because of a lack of technology resources that my students have access to.

With Chromebooks in our classroom we will be able to do more STEM activities and incorporate the activities in all subject areas.

At the school I teach at, we do not have a art or music teacher for our students. So as the general education teacher, I am the one who teaches those standards too. I would love to be able to do STEM projects that include the art standards as well as the other standards that I teach.
