Schools plays a vital role in building a great nation. This is a place where teachers nurture the minds of every children. This is a place of opportunity to prepare each learners capable to face the challenges of global competition and survive in the midst of trials and storms.
This is the bridge to make children's dreams possible.
After the Great Flood of Baton Rouge, I thought that our school can come back to our own campus after a year. I was informed that because of budget issue, our school will spent another year sharing a campus of middle school.
Enough learning resources for students will bridge the gap towards successful learning. Without enough learning materials and equipment, learning process becomes difficult to realize!
My students needs Chromebooks to enhance their learning potentials. Students are given different learning task to be completed in a scheduled time. Their assignments are scored and graphed to show how they progress.
Both teachers and parents are capable of monitoring students success and growth.
Since our school lost everything, (because of the Great Flood 2016) we can't provide our students enough resources. We don't have enough funds to support each individual needs. As a matter of fact, I was informed that we can't return to our school campus by next school year. We still have to share the middle school campus for another year.
We know this is very challenging for students, parents, and educators. All we have to do as educators is to our very BEST for the sake of these kids.
