Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an eclectic group with diverse learning styles. They are enthusiastic and ready to learn in spite of the tough neighborhood and harsh circumstances that they come from. Many have been retained and are in dire need of language skills acquisition. I am sure that if they are given the opportunity to fill this skill deficit, they will surpass the expectations and become successful students. They are a hard working bunch, and I am sure that they can reach their goals.

My Project

My students come from impoverished households where they have little to no access to technology. Many have never used a computer.

I want my students to use technology so that they are prepared to be successful in this technology age.

They are hard-working and eager to learn. They need the opportunity to learn how to use technology to their advantage. I am sure they can be successful and improve their skills if given the chance to shine. We have been working very hard to improve and reach our goals. I feel these Chromebooks will help them achieve great heights and make them savvy technology users.
