Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are special needs students with a love for learning! My students love to engage with technology especially since most of them do not have access to it at home. Every time technology is used in the classroom, learning really becomes alive, and my students are very engaged!

My special needs students face many obstacles living in a very low income inner city, but they are always eager and ready to learn!

They are always willing to try their best and work hard, but they have significant learning disabilities.

They love using technology to help them with their learning challenges. Most of them do not have access to technology at home and their only exposure is at school.

My Project

My special needs students would benefit from being able to access online resources for daily reinforcement in reading and math. The Chromebooks will help foster learning and allow my students the technology needed to help them with their math and reading difficulties. The Chromebooks can also give my students the skills they need to achieve their IEP goals. The Chromebooks will help make learning relevant and personalized for every student.
