My Students

My students are at a gifted and talented school which means that they are typically advanced in at least one area in school. As a math teacher, I see a wide range of levels as some students are extremely talented in math, while others have gifts in other areas and struggle with the more advanced math topics.

My students are bright, hard-working, motivated, and are on all different levels of math when they come to my Algbera classroom in the 8th grade.

I'm looking to use Khan Academy instruction on a daily basis to help meet my students at their different levels- we need computers! Eventually, I hope to have a classroom set of Chromebooks, but for now, we could do a lot with just a handful. Thank you for your support!

My Project

The Chromebooks will be used directly by students on a daily basis to meet their individual needs in the math classroom. We are looking to eventually have a class set, but for now, a few chromebooks can still go a long way.

We are looking to use Khan Academy instruction on a daily basis to help meet the needs of my students at their different levels.

We have used Khan Academy consistently and effectively over the years, but the struggle is always getting ahold of the shared laptops in the school. We use the computers enough that we need a few to get our class set started.
