My Students

Curious. Ambitious. Hardworking. Creative. These are just a few words to describe the students in 5th grade at our school. The students would benefit from additional technology in our classroom. These Chromebooks would be put to use on a daily basis during the two math blocks and one content block I teach.

Technology opens up the world to our students.

Chromebooks will allow my eager and innovative students to practice 21st century skills on a daily basis. Additionally, it will support our classroom environment through collaboration with peers.

My Project

The Chromebooks will play an integral part in everyday learning in our classroom. Whether it is completing engaging and interactive math activities or practice math fluency, researching science topics, or sharing their hard work on our Google Classroom, these Chromebooks will be used on a daily basis by three classes of 5th graders.

Access to technology can be a struggle for some, therefore having plenty of technology available to students is imperative.

Chromebooks are helpful because they are smaller than a typical laptop and easier to store than a desktop computer. This will encourage engagement during lessons and collaboration with peers during partner work.
