Chromebooks for Class!!

Help me give my students a class set of Chromebooks since our science curriculum contains computer-based simulations and is entirely online, and will also be helpful for our daily math practice.

My Project

The Chromebooks will be such a valuable resource in class. Students will use the Chromebooks during science instruction to access our curriculum, complete internet-based data collection, interact with lesson-specific simulations, and document their learning.

During math, the Chromebooks will help my students practice math problems and skills that are at their particular level.

This allows students to grow at a rate that meets their individual needs. It is also fun to incorporate math games and the internet is a great resource for this.

My students will also use their computers for research. We will need this in science, math, and our Innovations Curriculum. Innovations is a project-based elective and students will need to research materials, ideas, and topics with the Chromebooks. We begin the quarter with a research-based assignment on an inventor of their choice. Each student team will design a Google Slides presentation to share with the class. We will then move onto our Invention Convention Projects where students build solutions to solve a real-life problem in their community.
